FAQ

  • Does LETTERBOMB take requests?

Yes! While we can’t guarantee that we will know how to perform, every single Green Day song ever made on the spot, if you make a song request far enough ahead of the show, we certainly will be able to perform it.

  • Where does LETTERBOMB perform?

Everywhere! While LETTERBOMB’s performances are mostly geared toward traditional venues, the band is thrilled to perform in a number of settings, including festivals & private/corporate events. Geographically, LETTERBOMB is based in the midwestern United States, but are willing to play anywhere and everywhere there are people who want to experience their performance!

  • Does LETTERBOMB play the same setlist for every show?

Nope! LETTERBOMB aims to provide a unique experience for each audience. While the band focuses on playing the hits everyone wants to hear, they also will change the setlist to include deep cuts, fan requests, or updates based on Green Day’s actual performances! Some examples might include playing an entire album, front-to-back, creating a medley of lesser-known (but still amazing) songs from Green Day’s back catalogue, or calling an audience member to the stage to sing or play on a song!

  • Does LETTERBOMB perform tributes to other bands?

No. LETTERBOMB is a dedicated Green Day experience, and Green Day is all they perform.

  • Does LETTERBOMB write any original music?

As a matter of fact…kind of! The members of LETTERBOMB do write and release their own original music (obviously very much influenced by Green Day and other punk/pop artists) as Dust by Monday - an original pop-punk band! Find them on Spotify!

  • Why the name "LETTERBOMB"?

The name is a direct nod to the song “Letterbomb” off of Green Day’s landmark album “American Idiot”. The song is an expertly crafted composition, and represents an emotional turning point in the American Idiot rock opera, launching the listener into the closing act. Additionally, it’s Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong’s favorite song off the album! LETTERBOMB strives to perform this song at each performance.
